This book was written by Estelline Bennett, the daughter of Judge Granville Bennett. She writes about her experiences growing up in Deadwood and in the house that we are currently restoring. Over the next several weeks, I will post some exerpts from the book to peak your interest. Enjoy!
I bought the book, but have not started reading it yet. First I'm reading a book called Dakota, by Kathleen Norris. She talks mostly about western South Dakota and North Dakota, the area around Lemmon.
